The Aran Islands have been coined the best islands in the world by numerous global travel websites. The three islands lie guarding Galway Bay off the West Coast of Ireland. They can be accessed by ferry from Doolin, Co. Clare or Rossaveal, Co. Galway, and by plane from Connemara airport.

The hostel is just 100m from the Inis Oírr pier and a 10-minute walk from the island airport. Staying here, you get to enjoy the incredible ocean views. Radharc na Mara is typically open from Easter to the end of September each year; however, this period can be extended on occasion. Be sure to check with us if you plan on travelling during the winter months.
During the off-season period, tourist numbers decline, making it an excellent spot for groups to come over to work, study, or experience island life together. In the past few years, several artists, writers, and musicians have come here and used the base as a place to expand their portfolios while also enjoying the serenity and beauty the island brings.

Absolutely beautiful few days in this spotlessly clean & perfectly located hostel. Linda & the team couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Facilities are amazing, as are the views. Was sorry to be leaving, I’ll be back

Great Place to Explore
A really great place to explore Inis Oirr from. Super clean and super facilities and right beside the pier and beach. Really comfortable beds and incredibly helpful staff. We'll be back! Go raibh míle maith agat Linda!
